Customer satisfaction Wissembourg - Der schöne Adolar

This poster was created by the C. Burckardt printing firm and is part of a larger series of posters that were produced during the 1880s and 1890s. The company was based in the Alsatian town known as Wissembourg. All posters in this series have been printed via stone lithography, and convey a variety of images, from the playful to complex. The subjects were often exaggerated caricatures, as displayed in this striking image titled "The Beautiful Adolar". The printer's stamp is located in the bottom right and is numbered 264. A rare piece indeed, c1890.
